Stuff

  • Land detail shades to distance. 
  • Vehicle pitch composed to dependable rhythm. 
  • Bas-relief and shading applied to interior cabin. 
  • Wheels shifted inset, (with protective pads for knees, dontcha know?). 
  • Centre console comprises an active scanner (below lossy-compressed gif somewhat demonstrates one of its colorband-flow effects). 
  • A fuel gauge and 'next rock' scanner sits atop.
  • Vehicle Headliner.


A southern jaunt ...



RADAR

A radar for tracking alien activity, such as Surveyors, provides an action screen when player elects to capture signal by heading towards it (before it disappears). See 'PROJECT 2025 - WIP 06, 07' devlogs. See Haggling below for how to purchase a track option over an alien.


FUEL GAUGE & 'NEXT ROCK' SCANNER

A fuel gauge sits atop the Radar. It also doubles as a scanner defining approaching rock type. 


HAGGLING

Merchant Events conducted at structures (A-D), allow for market exchanges benefiting one or more party. See 'PROJECT 2025 - WIP 09, WIP 13' devlogs.


Sell cash for:

A - Fuel ($3)—your gauge indicates fuel remaining.  Leftmost reads 'empty.'

C - Wheels  ($6)—your vehicle's wheels will show wear by swapping colours.

D - Pulses ($9)—to acquire a track option over an alien, to pursue through the radar.
